Nestled among the breathtaking landscapes of North Idaho, our venue sits on 460 privately owned acres just off the Kingston exit. Rich in history and natural beauty, the property was once home to a beloved local nursery, where the previous owners took great pride in maintaining the grounds and creating a place that reflected the beauty of the surrounding area.

When our family became the caretakers of this special property, we continued that tradition of preserving its charm and character. While the barn and additional buildings remained a cherished part of the landscape, it wasn’t until 2022 that we discovered their true potential.

That year, one of our daughters was preparing for her wedding and searching for the perfect venue. After exploring countless options, she realized that the perfect place had been right here all along. Surrounded by family, nature, and the beauty of the property she loved, she envisioned her dream wedding at Lightner Creek. With a few thoughtful updates and special additions, that vision became a reality.

Following her wedding, friends and family quickly fell in love with the setting and began asking if they could celebrate their own special occasions here. As word spread and more couples discovered the magic of the property, it became clear that this beautiful place was meant to be shared.

In 2025, we proudly opened our doors to the public, welcoming couples and families to create memories of their own at Lightner Creek.
